It is a great honour and privilege to serve as your President for the Monmouthshire Bowling Association for 2017.


I would like to thank West Monmouthshire Bowling Association for their nomination and my club Brynmawr for seconding my nomination. I hope to carry out my duties to the best of my ability with the assistance of my fellow officers and the executive.


Congratulations to last year's presient Bill Martin on his busy and successful year in office. Bill carried out his duties with dignity and a smile.

Senior vice president Alan Witchell and junior vice president David Willing are on board and I look forward to working with them throughout the year.

Regarding my charity for 2017, I would like all donations to go to brain tumour.

Finally, I would like to wish you all good health and good bowling and look forward to seeing you on the green this season.
