A busy week in Monmouthshire with MBA league matches midweek and Carruthers Shield matches this weekend.
MBA1
RTB started their campaign with a twelve – two win over Blackwood and Pontymister Athletic beat Chepstow by the same score.
MBA2
Pontypool Girlings head the table after a fourteen – nil win at Abertillery, Pontnewydd are second on shot difference after winning ten – four at Brynmawr. Cwmbran got their league program off to a winning start, twelve – two at Newbridge.
MBA3
Panteg House move to the top after winning eleven – three at Llanhilleth. St. Julians are second after winning twelve – two against Aberca. Bedwellty started their season with a ten – four win over New Tredegar.
WBA17
Blaina still head the section despite a narrow defeat at Llanhilleth who are now level on points at the top with a game in hand. New Tredegar joined the group on four points with a victory at Whiteheads.
WBA18
Rhymney Royal still head this group after beating Brynmawr and Abertillery dented the chance of Ynysddu by beating them by seven shots.
WBA19
Bedwas have almost sealed this section after and big win over Belle Vue and St Julians bounced back this week to beat Abergavenny.
WBA20
Six Bells recorded a three shot victory at Pontnewydd to move level on points with RTB Ebbw Vale.

Panteg Park and Blackwood head the section after Panteg beat Oakdale and Blackwood beat Crosskeys.

Cwmbran head the group after a big win over Pontymister Welfare.

Blaenavon head the group after a big win over neighbours Gadiffaith but Chepstow join them on two points each after beating Beechwood.

Croesyceiliog win the section after beating Machen, congratulations to them on becoming the first MBA club to qualify in a depleted group.

Bedwellty Park head the group after beating Aberca with Beaufort just behind with a win over Panteg House.

Newport Athletic head the group after beating Caerleon.

RTB head the table after recording at ten – two win at Pontymister Athletic.
