Allen Witchell of Blackwood B.C. is the new President of the Monmouthshire Bowling Association following the recent Annual General Meeting. On taking up the position, Allen thanked both his club and association for their nomination and vowed to carry out the position to the best of his abilities.
Previous president, Peter Carey thanked everyone for their support through the season and wished Allen all the best for this term in office.
Dave Willing of Pontymister Welfare B.C. takes up the position of Senior Vice President, with Tony Pask of Panteg House B.C. being nominated to the position of Junior Vice President. All other officers were officers were re-elected to their respective positions.
Paul Watkins was nominated from Monmouthshire to serve as Junior Vice President of the Welsh Bowling Association for 2018, which will eventually lead to him becoming President in 2020.
