MBA Cup
Friday saw the climax of the 2024 MBA Cup as Blackwood looked to claim the title for the 2nd time in 4 years against Crosskeys. Both sides battled hard and with a few ends to play, the tie was still in the balance with only a handful of shots between the 2 sides. As the game drew to a close, it was Crosskeys who finished the stronger of the 2 sides to finally come away with a 21 shot win and take home the title.

MBA Division 1
The top of the table clash at Bedwas saw them end newly crowded Cup winners Crosskeys winning streak in Division 1 as the home side won 8-6 in a close encounter. Blackwood bounced back from their cup defeat the following evening to remain 3rd following a 10-4 win at Newbridge as Cwmbran Park picked up 12 valuable points away to Pontymister Athletic to put some space between them and the drop zone.

MBA Division 2
St Julian's retu to the top of the table as they recorded a 10-4 win at Pontnewydd. Caldicot (12-2 Vs and Blaenavon) and Rhymney Gwent (12-2 vs RTB Ebbw Vale) both recorded wins to close the gap with the top 2. Further down the table Pontypool Park Girlings recorded 12 points against Chepstow to close the gap with the teams above.

MBA Division 3
Blaina recorded their 8th consecutive win as they overcame Machen 12-2 to remain top. Bedwellty Park remain 2nd as they picked up a full 14 points at home t Beaufort. Ynysddu mover upto 3rd place with a 13-1 win at Abertillery and Llanhilleth the middle of the table clash against Abergavenny 12-2 to remain 5th.

MBA Division 4
Beechwood remain top following a 10-4 over Panteg Park but their lead is reduced to 2 points as 2nd place Panteg House picked all of the points on off at Pontymister Welfare. New Tredegar remain 3rd with a 10-4 win over Caerleon as Oakdale rise to 4th in the table with a 10-4 win at Firbank.

MBA Division 5
The top of the table clash between Aberca and Whiteheads went the way of home team as Aberca recorded a 10-4 win and now sit 12 points ahead at the top of the table. Newport Athletic remain in 3rd with a 10-4 win over Six Bells, and 1 point further back sit Belle Vue after they recorded a maximum 14 points against Gilwe.

GBL Division 1
No movement across the division as 3 matches took place. Croesyceilog recording a 10-2 win over Chepstow, Crosskeys winning 10-2 against South Mon. Rivals Newbridge and Caldicot picking up a 12-0 win away at Monmouth.

GBL Division 2
Blackwood moved to the top of the table as they won 10-2 in the top 2 clash against RTB Ebbw Vale. Aberca moved upto 3rd place in the table as mirrored their MBA counterpart with a 10-2 win over Whiteheads. Still awaiting the result of Abergavenny

GBL Division 3
Croesyceilog remain top with a 8-2 win at New Tredegar. Bailey Park remain 6 points back in 2nd place after an 8-2 win at Cwmbran Park with Ynysddu moving upto 3rd place following a 10-0 home win against Abertillery. Beaufort move upto 5th with a narrow 3 shot (8-2) win over Oakdale as Pontypool Park Girlings picked up all 10 points against St Julian's.
