The MBA County Competitions are now in full swing, and whilst the majority of entrants are complying with the rules the competition secretary has requested that I send a reminder of the procedure which he asks all competitors adhere to in order to make his job easier and to ensure
the competitions run smoothly:-
- All competition ties must be played on or before the dates stipulated on the MBA Website and in the County handbook. If you cannot play on the date stipulated, then the tie can be played beforehand by mutual consent.
- Winners of each tie must inform the competition secretary or respective nominated person of the result by phone within 24 hours of the conclusion of the game.
- All competitors are requested to make every effort to fulfill ties and accommodate their opponents wherever possible using common sense, and in the spirit of sportsmanship, and fair play.
